In the view menu, there is an arrange icons by item. This is the same as sort but may provide fewer options. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Carolyn Barker" <barkerb@xxxxxxxxx> To: <jfw@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Monday, March 08, 2004 9:13 PM Subject: RE: JFW 5.0 Video Bugs still not fixed David, How do you sort file lists in Windows Explorer? I, like Ed, would use = the Jaws cursor to click on the column header. And, as a matter of record, I = do not have Ed's problems under Windows 2000 with the latest Jaws 5.0. If you download 5.0, you get 5.0.812 not 5.0.621. As to the use = of the jaws cursor, I am not certain why anyone would want to use the jaws cursor in windows explorer. I'm not saying there are not problems, but = just cannot understand wy the jaws cursor should be necessary in a native interface such as windows explorer. Further on the topic of video and = jaws 5.0.812, I have found that in many instances, setting screen resolution = to 1024x768 and color depth to 32-bit cures many issues. but, you say, I didn't have to do this with 4.51 and you will be correct, but 5.0.812 = cures some issues that were not even correctable in 4.51. I am of course = mostly speaking of windows xp here. -- To post a message to the list, send it to jfw@xxxxxxxxxxxxx To unsubscribe from this mailing list, send a message to jfw-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with the word unsubscribe in the subject line.
