I'm using one as we speak. You have to install a driver because JAWS doesn't have one built in. The other sort of strange thing you have to do even before you install the driver is to install a virtual com port if you're going to use a USB connection. It's not difficult; it's just a pain. The size of the display makes it worth it in my opinion, especially if your client is using a laptop and wants something very portable. Hope that helps. -----Original Message----- From: jfw-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:jfw-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx]On Behalf Of Caroline Sent: Wednesday, July 23, 2008 12:15 PM To: jfw@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: JAWS and the Brailliant Displays Hi everyone. I'm doing a bit of research for a client who's interested in using JAWS with the Brailliant display from HumanWare. I was wondering if anyone is using this successfully. I didn't see the Brailliant listed in the list of supported displays, so wasn't sure if it'll work. Before we order this stuff I really want to check out compatibility. Any comments would be helpful. Thanks much in advance. Caroline -- Caroline; Milwaukee, Wisconsin http://www.CarolinesKittyCorner.com Skype: ccongdon MSN/Windows Live: cat_lover1976@xxxxxxx
