I heard that Microsoft was not going to support Access before long. Is that true? What is a good data base for us to use? I've avoided using it and try to do all my work in Excel. If you create a document in any 2003 version of Microsoft Office, a 2007 version will be able to read it, so don't worry about that part. If there's any way you can be allowed to export the MS-Access data to an Excel format, work on it there, and then import back to MS-Access, I'd suggest you give that a try. I'm having to use MS-Project this semester and I may have to resort to a similar Export/Work/Import strategy to do my assignments. I will check and see if it is possible to use 2003. This is for a course and it needs to be submitted in 2007. Does anyone know if this could be created in Access 2003 and opened in 2007 (and perhaps saved in 2007 format)? Any information would be helpful. Some parts of Access either worked badly or didn't read at all. Examples included forms and the datasheet views. I would downgrade to Access 2003 if possible.
