Yes but even though JAWS doesn't recognise the graphics, it would still bring up the JAWS manager dialogue to choose from the list would it? I don't mean the graphics leabeler, I mean the JAWS manager!

It is because the add accounts screen does not have any graphics that jaws
will reconise. They are a different kind of graphic.

Thought I'd try using the custom label thing to see if I could make it more
accessible and then share what I did, but discovered if I press INSERT+F2
whilst in the Quicken Add Account screen , the list in the 'Run JAWS
Manager' screen is empty.

Never seen that before.

Strange! Does anybody else have that?

Hello Peter.

You have to basically remember where you are in the register. The fields
are not labeled. If you are used to using Quicken any previous version
from
Quicken 2003 to Quicken 2008 it should work as expected. If you remember
what the keystrokes are to get things done it should work fine. You will
have to use your Jaws cursor in certain places.

I hope this helps.

Chris.

Thanks, I'm downloading it to try now, although annoyingly you can't get
the

UK version anymore so wont be accessing my bank accounts online.

Is there any tips for using it with JAWS or does it all speak wonderfully?
For example when you tab to buttons do you then have to use the JAWS
cursor
to read what it says before it like with many programs these days. That
seemed to be the case with Quicken 2007.

Hello Peter.

I'm using Quicken 2008 with Jaws for Windows version 9 and having no
problems with it.

I hope this helps.

Does anybody know what the latest version of Quicken is that JAWs
supports
and also whether that version will work with Vista.

Thanks

Hi, except for the title info at the top of the screen, my PC cursor is
useless. Using the Jaws cursor, I can read what is on the screen, but I
am unable to click on the fields for e-mail address and password. I
hope
this makes sense, and thanks for your help. Norma
