Hi again list,This should be my final post on this topic because I finally found the solution to my problem and got the video clip to play.
I started noticing problems with some other web sites, besides the TV station site from which I was trying to play that video clip about the man being raised from the dead. So, the only thing I could think of was the fact that I had upgraded my browser from IE 6 to IE 7 a few weeks ago. I wasn't sure how to repair my IE 7, but I kept looking around and, finally, I came up with the following:
I pulled down the Tools Menu in IE 7 and cursored up to Internet Options and pressed Enter. I pressed Shift Tab and cursored right to the Advanced Tab. Then, I Tabbed to the Reset button and pressed the SpaceBar on it. This replaced files and returned IE 7 to its defaults. After that, I rebooted and then tried the video clip again. To my amazement, it worked this time!
Thanks for all your suggestions. Regards, Don----- Original Message ----- From: "James Homuth" <james@xxxxxxxxxxx>

All 3 of those are the exact same over here as well, and I've had no problem with playing that video. I'm running WMP 11, IE 7 and JAWS 9 on a Windows XP SP2 machine.James, List Admin At 03:39 PM 08/03/2008, you wrote:Hi again friends,Since it has come to light that Windows Media Player is being used to play this video, I am wondering what version of WMP is being used by those of you who have been able to get it to play???I am using WMP 11, Internet Explorer 7, JAWS 9 (latest release) and Windows XP Home. I am now thinking it may be a problem with WMP 11, since we discovered, some time ago, that it was causing the problem with JAWS not reporting the Copy and Cut commands.I look forward to hearing your feedback. After you go to this web page, if the video doesn't play, choose the tools menu, then manage add-ons and finally enable or disable add-ons. Do you see the entry for shockwavv flash object? Does it show as enabled? If not use the radio button to enable it.I tried this with and without JAWS on IE7 and it worked here. Using Jaws 9 here--not the current but the earlier release of Jaws 9 and I E 7.After the video began playing I at first had no controle of the virtualcursor but routed the Jaws cursor to the P C cursor and virtual P C cursor controle returned and I could arrow through all the 500 plus links though needless to say I only tried a few but see no reason why the others wouldnot have worked. Significantly though, the video clip did work. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Bobcat" <bobcat11@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> To: <jfw@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Wednesday, March 05, 2008 7:10 PM Subject: Re: JAWS 9 and IE 7 problemHi Don. I was able to hear the video. But, I had trouble with the page. My system became very sluggish while the video was running. I didn't think the virtual PC cursor was working so I went to the Jaws cursor. Surprising that I could move through all the links on that page with the Jaws cursor, and there are a lot. But, the position of the Jaws cursor hardly moved while doing this.I thought the video was probably slowing my system down so I tried stopping it with escape which worked. Then I was able to get the virtual pc cursor working. I found some clickable volume and transport controls at the bottomof the page. Slash and shift slash would move between these clickable elements but they don't show up in the clickable elements list insert+control+slash. See if you can find the play/pause element at the bottom of the page. I wonder what player is being used.At first, I thought it was bypassing the windows mixer because I couldn't adjust the volume. Then I remembered that my default sound device is the SRS Sandbox so the system sounds and videos were going through that mixerwhich happened to be set very low.
