RE: JAWS 9 & Adobe 8.1

Whenever I receive this message it is due to the fact that it is either a
scanned document or pictures, which has the same affect.  There is nothing
that JAWS can read.

Hi,  I am trying to access an attachment in PDF format with JAWS 9 & Adobe 
8.1.
All I get is an alert to an 'empty document'.
This file is a 532K text document.  How can I manipulate Adobe to allow me 
access to this file?
