Your friend may have OE set to read incoming messages in text mode, so web
links will not be activated. You need to read messages in HTML mode in
order to activate links. You can switch to HTML mode in an individual
message by pressing Alt-Shift-H. You can permenantly set OE to read
messages in HTML by unchecking the Read Messages as Plain Text box in the
Read page of the Options submenu of the Tools menu.

Hi all,
On behalf of my friend. Whenever he tries to click links in an e-mail,
including links to e-mail addresses, none of the associated programmes
(Internet Explorer and another window of Outlook Express) will open and
instead loses focus instead. Does anyone know what the problem is please
and very kindly help him out? I tried asking him to make both programmes
their defaults, but they're already set that way. Any help would be
greatly appreciated. Thanks!
