JAWS 6.0 is Shipping to New Purchasers and SMA Holders
(St. Petersburg, Florida, March 3, 2005) - JAWS® for Windows® 6.0, with its new
state-of-the-art features, is now shipping. All single and multi-user Software
Maintenance Agreement (SMA) holders will receive the free upgrade by March 15,
2005.
JAWS 6.0 has been loaded with new, never-before-seen features designed to make
screen reading more flexible and powerful for users at home, work, and in
educational settings. Some of the top features are:

. JAWS Basic Training in DAISY format, the worldwide standard for accessible
text and audio material. To read it, we even provide a demo of Freedom
Scientific's
new DAISY reader, FSReader.
. The ability to assign Custom Text Labels to almost any HTML element,
including links, controls on forms, and even images.
. Skim Reading to quickly locate and read sentences or paragraphs containing
user definable text. This feature works in all applications, including the
Web with Internet Explorer.
