Really? I also thought this was a Windows feature.

Oh well, at least we know JAWS is consistent at something. (LOL)

Hi

If you ever find the answer to this one please let me know. It never used
to happen to me until several versions ago and I have never been able to
work out how to stop it from doing this dam annoying thing.

Subject: JAWS 10 + Windows Live Messenger question

I just installed JAWS 10.0 plus latest update on my girlfriend's computer
this week, and I'm noticing something that doesn't happen on my own. When
someone sends an IM using Windows Live, it continuously repeats the
conversation title window until either the window is brought into the
foreground, or a period of 2 minutes or so passes. At first, I thought it
was because of something in Windows Live flashing to gain attention and let
us know we had an IM waiting for us, but she has enough useable sight to be
able to tell that isn't the case. I'm wondering if anyone else is having
this particular issue, and if so, how best to go about the business of
stopping it from happening. As I said, running 10.0 with most recent update,
plus Windows Live 8.1. Any help would be appreciated.
