It was purely because that link was the one I came across. It actualy redirected me away from the Vista site to the XP version anyway.
However I have solved the problem now. It was my IE settings, I have bought a new PC and the manufacturer, Acer, had the settings all very restricted. I didn't think to restart the computer after fchanging the settings as nothing told me to. However now I have, it is all working.
