apparently, the command furnishes different info depending on context, i.e.,
depending on which application you're in when you use it. That wouldn't be
a malfunction of any sort. Hope that helps. And look to your spell
checker, o Ancient One!

size but in Microbloat Word I get a whole raft of additional info.

It used to be that, when one pressed ins-F, one would get not only the font
and point size, but also the paragraph or cell alignment. Granted, the
latter has nothing to do with font. But it was a convenient way to obtain
this information. Is there, now (in 7.1), another convenient way to check on
the paragraph alignment, at the active cursor?
