Graphics on web pages

Hi all,
When I go to some web pages, it seems as though the page is full of graphics
and linkGraphic links. For example
http://www.kitchendoctor.com/articles/cilantro.html
Is there anyway to shut off this speaking of graphics? And, is there any
important reason to leave the speaking of graphics on?
Please give me specific JAWS keystrokes as I am not very adept at making
changes to my computer.
Thanks much,
TerriLynne
