And Eric Damery told me the other day by email that the next update won't be out till sometime in April. I'm just curious as to how this info was found out, since there's no download link or information what so ever on FS's site. Date: Wed, 21 Mar 2007 18:40:08 -0400 I'll bet someone at FS made a mistake in the release. I was told by Eric Damery that the next update to JAWS probably would be sometime in April. Hi. When I checked for updates, I was told I was running the latest version, and I'm running build 1163. The interesting thing is that since others had reported seing build 1171, I made like I was going to atempt to download the latest version of JAWS from the FS website. But instead of just downloading build 1163 again, I slightly changed the file name to reflect the current build number. in other words, i changed it so the file name would be: J8.0.1171U_ILM.exe To my surprise, it actually worked and I was given the opportunity to download it. But since there is such confusion about build numbers and we don't even know what is changed in this latest version, I am going to hold off until I get official word from FS. and because of what happened last time with automatic updates, I think i'm going to stick with just downloading fresh copies from the FS website. I'll at least know I got a full version in case automatic updates screws up again.
