Sorry, but this is not the case at all.  A hardware firewall cannot
detect or prevent Trosians or other spiware running on your pc from
making an outbound connection and passing on their data they've aquired
from your system. =20

However, They  are a more reliable defense against inbound attacks as
they are always running, but any number of conditions can possibly
prevent your software firewall from starting.
