Hello Joseph, Patty and others,

Yes, indeed, I usually find that people like this prefer to try taking the
path of least resistance. The path of least resistance in issues such as
this is to discriminate against or otherwise exclude us out of hand, as
people think that approach is easier than actually trying to figure out how
to work with us constructively. I am convinced that, whenever we turn the
tables, making exclusion the most difficult way to deal with us, then we get
progress.

Alas, wouldn't it seem one should expect better treatment from a company
that supposedly works with the disabled. Oh, well, I guess that's why I'm
not rinvolved with the supposed cross-disability rights movement.

Hi Darrell,
I guess that means another entry in the Blind
Access Journal...
I can see other factors: many people think
that, when a blind person uses JAWS, it is
due to scripts and many think that JAWS
requires scripts in order for blind users to
use their apps. I'm in complete agreement
with Darrell - that there are many software
that works "out of the box" - that is, it
does not require scripts, config files, etc.
Maybe the next move for Patty would be to get
a "sample" of what the application is - that
is, try it and see what happens.
Cheers,
Joseph
