Margaret,

No, that's fine. It's all under your control just as it was before. The
computer won't somehow redirect a download contrary to what you give as the
destination in the download dialogue. So call your new folder
c:\downloads\ or c:\my downloads (more in keeping with the my this, my that
style of the system), or George, or whatever. Just so the folder is there,
and the path to it is properly indicated in the download dialogue, that's
that.

Subject: Creating Download Folder-XP

Hi All,

I'm making progress understanding the new path for JFW 6.0 and
learning the things that are new about XP. I got the scripts for
Ad-Aware in the right place and got it to run. However, I have
another question that is basic. On the Win 98 machine, I had a folder
for downloads in C:\Download. Can I create a folder with the same
path or would it go somewhere in
C:\Documents and Settings?

    Thanks,
Margaret
