Yes, you can, and once you've used it and said that's where you want
your first download, that's where they should go. Occasionally I have
found one that has ended up on the desktop but that's not usually the
case.

Subject: Creating Download Folder-XP

Hi All,

I'm making progress understanding the new path for JFW 6.0 and
learning the things that are new about XP. I got the scripts for
Ad-Aware in the right place and got it to run. However, I have
another question that is basic. On the Win 98 machine, I had a folder
for downloads in C:\Download. Can I create a folder with the same
path or would it go somewhere in
C:\Documents and Settings?

    Thanks,
Margaret
