Your sound system in combination with your system performance bring you the crackles. You may be able to update your sound-driver or reduce the audio accelleration under the speakers tab of sounds and audio devices, but you might not be able to fix it. I've had this same problem with a SB64D Sometimes it happens and sometimes not. If you know how to defrag diskclean, or edit registry items that might be a final step in solving the problem. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Sami Mardam-Bey" <samiebey@xxxxxxxxxxxx> To: <jfw@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Wednesday, May 19, 2004 2:40 PM Subject: Crackles In Jaws > I'm having crackles in Jaws Every time it says a sentence, I get crackles. > Is it from JFW or the soundcard I'm using sb live.
