Hi,
A few clarification to this problem:
1. I think, the program having this rich-text window does not play as
important role as the window type in which the problem occurs. However,
the program is not Microsoft Word, neither is it publically available
anywhere.
2. The Control+A, Control+C, and their corresponding menu commands are
disabled in that program. However, the Control+Home and
Control+Shift+End do select the entire document, and still the
GetSelectedText function of JAWS only returns the visible part of the
selection.
3. There is a JAWS function which returns a pointer to the ITextDocument
interface of these kind of rich-text windows, but haven't managed to
solve how to use this pointer. The function is called
GetRichEditDocument. In the documentations of this function, it is said
that more information about the interface is available on Microsoft's
Web site, but it looked too difficult for me.
Any help would still be appreciated,

Which program are you working in? Is it Word? If so do you have the
tool bars visible?
But in any event, Have you just tried using the control key plus
letter A to highlight all the text and then do a control key plus
letter C to copy text to the clipb board and then pasting the contents
into a new document?

Do you have any idea how to copy the whole contents of a rich-text
window with JAWS, when the copying is disabled from the application?
Selecting text is enabled, but copying is not. I have tried the
CopyToClipboard(GetSelectedText()) function, but this only copies
that part of selection that is visible on the screen, and not the
whole selection.
Any help would be appriciated,
