Confused about the latest stayble and rc version

Hi friends,
today i visited the FS sight, and under the latest news section, i found
jaws12.0.1158 version. There i got confused, because as per what i think, the
rc version also has the same number.
Could u clearify my doubt about the exact number of the latest stayble release?
And r the bugs fixed, which the users reported when rc version came on the jfw
mailing list?
