Hi, Martin,
A good sets of scripts for Itunes will be great.
Are you thinking to use hot spot clicker to developp your next scripts?
Best,
Juan.

This jTunes sounds very disappointing. I kinda don't like seeing such a steep
price for something that doesn't work well. I never even approached iTunes
because of this jTunes figuring it was good enough. As my wife points out, the
new one should be free. I couldn't agree more.
I would look forward to this app, but it's not my decision this time. If I
have room at the end of whatever is chosen, I want to come back to this one.

From what I know, jaws stand alone, nop. However, jaws with jTunes,
essentially yes. But it is kind of confusing.

It appears that iTouch and iPhone are moving into the accessibility
category and more will use them. I have an iTouch myself. One thing I noticed
is the inability to uncheck songs from being synced if you want to manually
manage your library. Does jaws allow you to uncheck songs from the list? Alsois
it possible to transfer apps to the phone using the iStore in the application
instead of doing it on the phone? That would be nice because it would take less
time if Jaws allowed it.

I agree. Itunes is essential for using the iphone, the iphone is arguably
the most accessible smart phone out there, and for the windows and jaws user
there needs to be a good solution. J-tunes just isn't keeping up and as noted,
it really doesn't "bring that much to the party."

Tiptoeing around in itunes is frustrating at best and disruptive at
worst. It would be nice to have stronger jaws scripting for the application. As
noted, the iStore currently throws the limited functionality of jaws and itunes
on its ear.

Well, look at the jTunes and build from there. Just kidding. Even though
the jTunes cost 75 dollars, they don't bring to much to the party. Well,
suggestions on what I want on iTunes. Well, access to the help file. Second,
since jaws 12 or iTunes 10.2.1 (don't know which one) broke the iTunes store,
the iTunes store would be very nice. A way to imput data or create an account
without turning the virtual cursor off. A way to get all the easily accessible
information for sighted people (track name, time, number of tracks, etc.) in an
easy matter. Jaws iimput when selecting tracks via the control plus spacebar
method. Those are just of a few suggestions. I am going to left this open for
people's imput.

ITunes is a good one. I know that some of it can't be accessed easily
without the jaws cursor. Definately an easier app to work with since they are
Microsoft accessibility access friendly. Plus I noticed that they leave the JSS
file open to scripters. Just in case we wanted to add to it. Give your thoughts
on what we want iTunes to do. I definately use iTunes myself and it is a
popular app. As far as the need, we still have to hear more input from
everyone. Good suggestion.

Hmmm... I would like to see scripts (free scripts if possible) for
iTunes. I downloaded the jTunes scripts (version 5.5) and I did not like them
at all. They did not added much to the party and there are some parts of iTunes
that since version 10.2.1 have become completely inaccessible. E.G. the iTunes
store.

Other program I would love to see a script being developed is for DVD
fab platnum.

I am thinking of a couple, but I doubt there will be any interest among
blind persons, so I won't mention them. At least for now.

Subject: Coding for a new jaws accessible app

        Hi folks,

As my 32nd birthday approaches, I think I am going to make a habit of
picking one new application per year to make jaws accessible. Picking Rhapsody
was not an easy task, but it taught me many things about an application that
seems next to impossible to make behave. I am taking off this summer from
school and will have the time to code a new application. Rhapsody Blind was a
test to see if I could pull it off, and it worked. I selfishly chose the first
one, now I'm looking for the popular vote on what you might want. I probably
won't start until this semester is over at the end of May, so this gives plenty
of time to decide. It would be a good idea to chat among each other and find
out what is needed or just plain want for entertainment purposes. So, let's
open up the floor and hear some suggestions.

        Thanks,

        John Martyn
