Personally stay away from computers running Vista. Even with the maximum RAM
it's still sluggish. I would get a PC with Windows 7. It should have at
least a 1GHZ processor and at least 2GB of RAM. Also consider going 64 bit
unless you require programs or drivers that are not available in 64 bit.

Hi Listers, I would love to hear specs and software advise for buying a new
computer. I will be using jaws 11 and right now have windows xp pro.
What kind of hardware specs should be the minimum and maxium?
Which software program up grades should I have or stay away from? I also
use MS 2003.
Any information would be great.
