Adrian,
I actually suspect that the names are hard-coded into the files, so that
changing the file name may not do anything. Not sure -- just a guess.

Dave, just a thought or two about point 5.
Typically, to change the name of a file or folder, highlight it in a list and
press F2, which sets up an edit field. However, even if that were possible in
this case (I don't know either way because I haven't bothered downloading
RealSpeak voices), it would probably be unwise to make such a change with these
voices. It could disrupt the programming syntax, if that's the right lingo.

Anywhere you would like. These are just executables that you launch -- they
do the rest.

Run each executable and sit back and wait until done.
4. how do I uninstal the voices that I no longer want?
Delete them using Control Panel add/remove programs.
5. how do I rename the voice let us say that I called it george and now I
want to call it matt how do I rename it?
I don't think you can.
