If your not going to use them then I'd suggest you do so there is basically as little on the screen for you to tab around if you get lost.

Hi, using JAWS I do the folowing to make it work the way I want. 1. Pres alt and go to the view tab and arrow down to arangement. 2. Right arrow and pres space bar on conversation (when in a virtual ribbon use space bar if JAWS says there is a drop down) 3. Select On by presssing spacebar on it. 4. Now pres ALT again and ou'l be where you where last time in the menu. 5. Go to the layout menu and right arrow 6. Using the same method as above now change the mesage list to one line view, turn the reading pane off. 7. I also turn off the calendar and storage folder views by just presssssing space bar on each to deselect them. I'll forward details of how to get jaws to read that a mesage is unread, in a conversation etc later but it's just a case of labeling the correct graphics.
