about bearshare 5.2? I really would appreciate knowing how you arrow up and down through the list of found mp3 files? I know you can tobble back and forth with the search window by using f6, but once in the found mp3 songs list, how do you arrow through up and down? I only seem to be able to do that using jaws curser, so I don't have access to more then 20 songs, yet there may be as many as a few hundred?
I am very interested in knowing this? Thanks, Julian----- Original Message ----- From: "2 Feathers" <twofeatherstp@xxxxxxxxx>

Hi Kimberly, I have been a user of BearShare 5.25 for a long time and know about the keyboard commands. The problem is that I was not given any choice as towhether I upgraded or not. I would like to go back to version 5.25, but itis not possible unless you know something I don't. If you know of some way to get around using version 6, please let me know. Thanks for your help. 2 Feathers----- Original Message ----- From: "Kimberly Thurman" <kimberlythurman@xxxxxxxxxxxxx>To: <jfw@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Tuesday, October 23, 2007 4:39 PM Subject: Re: BearShare 6 That version of Bearshare is I think 5 something, and it works with JFW 7, but not 8. Some hot keys for it are:Control key plus 1 will give a search box, then control 2 wil give you your list of downloads and their state of download (such as done, waiting, etc),control 3 I think gives you your Bearshare folders. I can't remember what control 4 does right now. After you do control 1, enter something into the search box, and press the search button, you can hit F6 to switch to the list of choices which havebeen found from your search. Arrow through these, and press control D whenyou find something you want to download. Then hit control number row 2 to move to the list of downloads. Also check control 3 and control 4, as I don't remember exactly what they do at the moment. Press your h key a few times and you will find aheading of "music sharing applications". See if something there is what youare looking for. There you will find a direct download for an older version of bear share. I have heard that the newest version is not so screen reader friendly. Also, if you or anyone wishes to try winMX, and needs some additional help I have a tutorial written for it. Just write me off list and I will be happyto send it to you. All of the sudden they want more info about you than the IRS plus a photo! Not only that, JFW has aterrible time with reading part of the installation/sign up screens. I amnot going to give them the kind of info they want, so is there another choice for file sharing programs? -- JFW related links: JFW homepage: http://www.freedomscientific.com/Scripting mailing list: http://lists.the-jdh.com/listinfo.cgi/scriptography-the-jdh.comJFW List instructions: To post a message to the list, send it to jfw@xxxxxxxxxxxxxTo unsubscribe from this mailing list, send a message to jfw-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with the word unsubscribe in the subject line.Archives located at: //www.freelists.org/archives/jfwIf you have any concerns about the list, post received from the list, or the way the list is being run, do not post them to the list.
