Re: Are any other jaws users having trouble with Google?

On Louis Braille's birthday Google did put their logo in Braille. It was, like all of the clever Google logo's, a graphic that contained ALT text so that everyone knew what was there. There are plenty of tricks one can use with JAWS to get past the Google Logo if it is in an annoying state and get to the edit field for entering the search term. My first suggestion would be to go to the forms list and jump directly to the search edit field. What do others suggest?

page with only eloquence speaking to a user when they wander to a particular
spot?

Sorry. Too much time on my hands.

Point is, they can go too far, and often times have done so.

Just imagine if they honored the discovery of dyslexia. Then no one could
read anything.

Hi Rose,

That is probably why JAWS is a bit unresponsive and sluggish.

It should be fine again tomorrow.

Cheers,
Claire.

Likely there is some animation or background video running that's also
slowing things down. Another Google Gum-up.

Google is showing its logo in bones today, because it is national
Radiology work. I have not tried it with Jaws but co-workers say it looks
really cool to see it. It may be slowing things down, however.

When I go to google, all it does is stall stall stall. I can navigate
most
other sites fine today, but google, and I think yahoo, are completely not
working. They're up, but it'll take jaws over a minute to move from one
line
to another. Is anyone else having trouble with this?
