You can at least OCR it to see what it says. One way to do so is to use a free tool that comes with office 2003. It's called microsoft office document imaging. You can import the pdf into it, ocr it, then send the text to a word document. With a little work in word on your part, you could even try to fill out the form in Word and print it. hth, Chip ------------------------------ Chip Orange Database Administrator Florida Public Service Commission Chip.Orange@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx (850) 413-6314 (Any opinions expressed are solely those of the author and do not necessarily reflect those of the Florida Public Service Commission.) ________________________________ From: jfw-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:jfw-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of doug slotten Sent: Friday, January 18, 2008 7:57 PM To: jfw@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: RE: Adobe question Unfortunately, this means that the PDF file is an image without any text file associated with it. You will have to print it out to fill it out. I have an email message with an attachment that I have to fill out and use. When I click on it, I get something that says "alert, empty document". However, my husband says there is a document in there. It was sideways and we rotated it but Jaws is still not reading it. Any suggestions? HELP! Linda No virus found in this outgoing message.
