Re: Add aware scripts not working in 7.10

If I recall correctly, the main point of Dean's writing these scripts wasn't
to enable Jaws users to use hotkeys, exactly, although hotkey operation
turned out to be the way he designed it too work. Had AdAware been possible
to use with Jaws by simply tabbing round to the controls and clicking on
them, instead, hotkeys or no hotkeys, I believe that would have been
sufficient. But when AdAware underwent an upgrade and interface redesign,
it wasn't possible anymore to use it with Jaws, whether by tabbing around
the controls *or* by hotkeys,if I recall. So just to clarify, unless of
course I'm misremembering. I, for one, would have been equally satisfied to
be able to just tab around and click on controls, if it had worked with
Jaws. I like the hotkey approach just fine, too. But I wouldn't freak out
just because it turns out I havee to tab to a control and click on it, so
long as I know what to do. Fine with me, as I sexpect it might be with
others, as well.

I have had the same problem. I have also merged the settings and recompiled
the scripts and still can not run a scan using 7.1.
