Not sure what system you are running so this is a shot gun type approach. Unless you need to hear everything you type, go into the basic settings for Jaws and set it so the key echo is off. Then get rid of the all highlighted or you'll hear everything on the screen any time there is a change. If the clock doesn't go away, you'll need to make that change in the control panel. I'm an XP fan still and to change the clock there go to task bar and start menu options. Make sure the box is not checked that says show the clock. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Parham Doustdar" <parham90@xxxxxxxxx> To: <jawsscripts@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Sunday, January 31, 2010 6:24 AM Subject: [jawsscripts] Strange Issue with Screen Echo > Hi there, > When my jaws screen echo is set to highlighted, it reads as if it is set > to all (E.G. insert+escape makes it read the taskbar, it keeps telling > me the > minutes when the time changes, or when I type something in the subject > edit box for this message), and when I set the screen echo to all, > everything is announced twice.
