also, re your simple jawsControlF function, are you,
A. remembering to not enter this box until your jaws cursor is at the top of
the screen? for of course, if you've got it to search forward from current
location, and you happen to enter this from mid way down your screen, it
will not find it, i.e. it doesn't wrap like virtual find can do, it'll just
go to the bottom and go donk if it's not from your current jawsCursor
location to in whichever direction you set it to look.

you can do reverse, search upwards from current location etc, but, the
default jawsControlF feature
certainly doesn't in my previous experience, work like you'd necessarily
expect it to, and just auto search the entire window from top down by
default, no matter where your jaws cursor is.
Also, in my experience too, it can effect the reliability of this, depending
on which cursor is actually active at the time you hit spacebar to begin the
search too? or is it perhaps on which cursor is active upon when you first
enter the jawsControlF dialog. I can't quite remember now. and I don't have
time to check today.
But, one of those I'm sure in the olden days I remember checking this,
definitely did effect the outcome of this function.
of course though, you want something more sophisitcated than this if your
incorporating it in a script anyway.

If I am wrong about this, please someone correct me.
