The MSAAMode option affects how JAWS gets information from MSAA controls. It appears this can be set to 0, 1, 2, or 3. I can't find much documentation on what the different settings do. In AOL Boxely.jcf, the comment says that msaamode=3 is "new" MSAA logic. In some scripts, the option is temporarily switched to 2 for certain classes. Can anybody clear up what the various settings do and what minimum version of JAWS supports each of them? By the way, I'm using JAWS 8. A related item is a control's setting in the [MSAAClasses] section of the application's JCF file. Mapping control class WeirdControl to MSAA places an entry WeirdControl=1 in [MSAAClasses]. Pretty straightforward, use MSAA for this control. I see JCF files that have SomeControl=0 in the [MSAAClasses] section. Does this mean "don't trust MSAA at all for this control" or something else? Any information is appreciated. I'll add the answers to the Wiki. __________ Visit and contribute to The JAWS Script Repository http://jawsscripts.com View the list's information and change your settings at //www.freelists.org/list/jawsscripts
