Jaws will always try to open a file in the settings file of the version
of Jaws which is currently running. Therefore if you insist on opening
a file from a different version, You will have to use the open dialogue
and go to the correct settings directory for the version that you want
to open. I don't even want to guess where Jaws would save the .jsb
after compiling. and I suspect that when compiling, jaws would use the
included files from the version that is running. As long as you only
want to view the information you should not have any problems though.

I have encountered this before but this time it refuses to open the
correct
files in my JAWS 13 ENU folder. It keeps trying to open up items in
JAWS 12
ENU folder even if I launch it from the jaws 13 folder. Is there some
registry entry that makes it default to a different folder. When I hit
enter
on the JSS file, it should read the JSD file in the same folder, but it
is
trying in the other folder. Please help.
John Martyn
