OMG! Please disregard my last post. I just tested out my JAWS dialog lists, 
in JAWS 8, 9, and 10, and indeed you cannot move to items by typing their 
names. However, starting with JAWS 11, you can in fact type consecutive 
letters and the item in the list that starts with those letters will be 
selected. This is stunning to me, since for 14 years I have been carefully 
organizing dialog lists based on the assumption you only have 1 letter 
navigation. Well I'll be! I'm seriously happy, but I wonder if this 
functionality was ever documented when JAWS 11 came out.
