Good evening Donald,
I'll let someone else answer your question about finding information about
applications that are not well documented. Note that not all applications
expose useful objects to the operating system.
As for the IE DOM, I am sure that there is information about this somewhere,
I just happen to be familiar with it from years of working with Javascript.
So, any good Javascript DOM information, like that from w3schools, would
help you out.
