Hi Paul. Once your name gets on a spammers list, there's no stopping
it. The most sure way of stopping it is to change your e-mail address,
but this may be a bit drastic. So...
I used to be bugged with spam, and clever use of filtering got rid of
most. I was using Forte Agent at the time, which has its limitations as
an e-mail client, but has wonderful filtering possibilities. At one
stage I blocked all incoming mail from hotmail and yahoo, and comcast,
and anything with odd country codes, as well as *make money*, v?agra etc.
If you're using Outlet Express, I didn't find the filtering anywhere so
good or user-friendly, but have a look in the menus under "Message
Rules" and see what you can do.
I'm again not using OE so cant help you with this, but others here might
well be able to give advice.
