Hi, By a strange and not necessarily useful co-incidence, the Fixed Features list of JAWS 7.1 includes mention of a problem present in earlier versions of JAWS which causes it to use 100% of the CPU resource when browsing certain websites under certain conditions. It doesn't say what the conditions are. Of course, it could be something completely different... I have a variable fan in my machine and when I start moving through the page the fan gets quite loud as the processor activity of JFW increases. It seems to be only on specific sites. Thanks. Andrew. -----Original Message----- From: jaws-uk-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:jaws-uk-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Paul Roberts Sent: 17 April 2006 17:03 To: jaws-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [jaws-uk] more internet problems=3D20 HI all, Just now I have tried to get onto the Sony Website but each time I try to do this, JAWS will fall silent and when it does speak, this is only for a few seconds before going silent again. I did have a similar problem recently and although someone did respond, I think I have deleted the E-mail so could someone please tell me what to do about this problem I seem to be having when visiting some sites. I am using JAWS version 5 and windows ME. Thanks for your help.
