[jaws-uk] Re: headers and footers

Hi There,
I find the same problem when trying to find the footer area! I can get to
the header area by pressing alt and v and then pressing the letter H. You
can then press the down arrow key once to land in the footer area! But the
problem is that Jaws does not announce the footer area you just have to
mysteriously know you are there! Just call it 6 sense! I can then use the
Alt and S short cut to work through the various items to be inserted and
these are announced for me perfectly.
I am using JAWS 6.1 and windows EXP home.
This might not be much help but at least you know that you are not the only
one.

hello list,
not sure if this is a jfw issue or a word issue
but when trying to insert headers and footers I can get directly to the
header edit field no problem.
but after inserting the text into this field I then use the keystroke alt
and s to move to the range of tabs that I used to be able to right arrow
through for inserting other items and more importantly the footer area.
I have noticed after pressing alt S then right arrowing 9 times and the
npressing enter I land on the footer tab and pressing enter takes me into
this area.
but for some reason these areas have stopped speaking, and sighted
assistance using a mouse can go to these areas.
it may be that my version of word is needing re installed.
I am using word 2000 and jfw version 6 but using jfw 4.5 gives same issues
