I only know I did have a speedtouch Modem now in a box unused and the laptop had to have something stuck in the side its little lights green the Wireless Router had the number 8 in it a is Epic Router I think the laptop I found did not have it set up it had to be done it had Wireless as an option. I do not know what I.E is or why Bt or Yahoo can cause problems. I did have problems due to the following the signal was weak, I was three rooms away but the reason was that the black box with 2 little Ariel's sticking up and again little green lights was for tidiness sake put under the computer table top in a wire basket where I had formerly kept stationary. this cause something even at a distance my rather clever cousin diagnosed as The Faraday effect" he meant the metal took the signal down to earth as soon as I moved the wireless TRouter thing up the signal became strong at all times. It needs I think great care in the set up as the out has to be the same on both and the in the same or you get endless error messages. I mean something called Pop is in and smpt is out I hope I have got that right it is not a piece of cake I can tell you that Tony Berry and others were baffled. Freeserve wannadoo also muddy the issue by makingit look as if the set up is the same you use Wanaddo or Freeserve and the website is misleading. I think Andrew said something to do with the word Alias but I couldn't understand this it was what Andrew typed to Martin Fuller who tried to sort out the mix up. It is worth while getting it right I can tell you that much Dorothy. Ps Fariday died long ago before the of electricity as we know it. still it was relevant. ** To leave the list, click on the immediately-following link:- ** [mailto:jaws-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx?subject=unsubscribe] ** If this link doesn't work then send a message to: ** jaws-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx ** and in the Subject line type ** unsubscribe ** For other list commands such as vacation mode, click on the ** immediately-following link:- ** [mailto:jaws-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx?subject=faq] ** or send a message, to ** jaws-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with the Subject:- faq
