I am sorry that I cannot help you with your current plight, but I can
confirm that I have had problems establishing communication as you
describe as a couple of icons in the Nokia software cannot be seen by
JAWS.
You can more easily check to see if the Bluetooth connection is running
by looking at the 6600.

I know that some V.I. people have managed to get it working but I have
reverted to using the infrared connection.
