there is a program called text aloud which turns text to audio you will find it
at www.nextup .com hope this is of some use.

I'm wondering if any of you guys have ever come across text to speech
software. I have to edit a book and would like to be able to listen to it away
from the computer. I have a word document of the book. Is there any thing
available which would take the .doc document and turn it into an MP3 file?
