Hi David, Using office XP pro and jaws 9 here. Try the following: 1( When in the inbox shift tab back into the list of folders. 2( cursor to the folder you wish to delete and hit the spacebar to high light it. 3( Press the delete key and jaws will ask if you want to delete the folder and move the contents to the deleted items bin. Hit yes and you're done. I did try going into the folder list by using the control y shortcut but when I highlighted a folder I wanted to delete nothing happened. Regards. Matty. -----Original Message----- From: jaws-uk-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:jaws-uk-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of David W Wood Sent: 28 May 2009 06:46 To: jaws-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [jaws-uk] Re: Outlook and deleting inbox folders Hi George, sorry, tried that and all I get is "donk" from Microsoft Sounds. Arrow up or down to the folder, and once you are on the folder you wish to delete, press the space bar, which then highlights it. Now try the delete key, and hopefully a warning will come up asking you to confirm deletion. George. -----Original Message----- From: jaws-uk-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:jaws-uk-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of David W Wood Sent: 27 May 2009 22:22 To: jaws-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [jaws-uk] Re: Outlook and deleting inbox folders Hi George - thanks for your interest. Apologies for not mentioning that I am using Office 2003, XP Pro, a moderately speced Dell, JAWS 10. Pressing ins-f tells me 'lighted tahoma 11 point". If cursoring onto the folder doesn't highlight it, how do I? Pressing mouse buttons and the application key give me a "donk" delete nothing! You do actually need to make sure that the folder is highlighted. Just cursoring down to it does not actually do this.
