Some actually do for changing list options and I am on several such
lists. However, unsubscription usually does not and does not with
that particular jaws support list either. I found myself swamped with
messages from that particular list also. In my case, I had been
subscribed to it but had gone nomail and forgotten of it for several
years. Quite a wake-up call when they changed list hosts!
To unsubscribe from that list, send a blank email to
jfw-unsubscribe@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
and then reply to the confirmation mesasge you get and you should be
off of it. No password is required for this. The only requirement is
that the unsubscription request and confirmation are sent from the
same email account that is subscribed and is to be unsubscribed.
