[jaws-uk] JAWS Voice

Setting up Email on Microsoft Outlook for a friend, using Windows XP and
JAWS Version 6.
For some reason, on start up, JAWS has started to speak very strangely and
rebooting the PC or restarting JAWS has not fixed the problem. There is now
an e ho and the voice sounds like it is very far away, almost like listening
to someone speak in a very large and empty stadium.
Has anyone any ideas what the problem is and how to fix it?
