Hi Nigel;

Yes, you do have to love MS. Upgrades provide new functionality, improved
performance and improved security. Messenger 7 is only beta software, it's
not a piece of software that's on commercial release. The whole idea of a
beta, and the reason why I distributed the information on it, is for members
of the public to test it, then report the bugs they find back to the
software vendor. Hopefully, if the vendor, in this case Microsoft, finds
out about accessibility bugs, then they may actually get an opportunity to
fix it. The best way for them to find out about accessibility and other
types of bugs, is if end users try it and tell the vendor about the
problems. It's highly unlikely that accessibility bugs will get fixed after
a piece of software has gone out to release, as only the mission critical
bugs, such as crashes, tend to get fixed after a release. So, participating
in beta testing is the best way to improve accessibility, and that's the
reason why I've been spending my time testing Visual Studio.

Will
