Hi Amie,
Using the laptop layout and placing the cursor somewhere on a word, press
JawsKey+k twice quickly to spell the word. Similarly, pressing JawsKey+i twice
quickly will spell the whole line.

Not sure if this is what you want, but putting the PC cursor on a word then
pushing Jaws key and 5 on the numpad twice quickly will spell that word.
Pushing that 5 key on any char will toggle between the char, its phonetic
name, (alpha bravo etc) and the ascii value.
