Hi Andrew.

Yes I have found exactly the same thing with Esset Security and indeed other firewalls such as Zone Alarm and Commodo.

Changing the settings in Esset smart Security is quite straight forward and accessible but reading the dialob boxxes that come up is certainly challenging.

Cheers

Graham

Hi,

It seems that the smart security (including AV, antispam etc), does not work as well with JFW as the antivirus package. When the firewall access box appears, Jaws does not seem to be able to read this.

Are you experiencing similar issues?

Thanks.
Andrew.

Using JAWS 9 latest.

Since upgrading from NOD32 to the Smart Security package (Esset Smart Security), I find that more often than not JAWS does not load automatically on computer start-up as previously. I have checked that the Options, basics JAWS Start Automatically option is checked.

I have posted this to both the Acces Technology and JAWS lists since I am not sure where the problem is.

Any suggestions appreciated.

Peter Bentley
