Hi Robin,

Correct me if I'm wrong but I don't think you can get the eloquence
synth on the Stream, would be good if you could although I don't mind
the Samantha voice.

Cheers,

Phil

Was just going to suggest that, look in the RNIB shop, they're
brilliant, best gadget I've ever bought and they use the eloquence synth

You can get 8 and 16Gb memory cards for them so it's just a copy job
from your main pc. Load up your favourite music as well and it's even
got a memo recorder built in.

Brilliant for taking on holiday, lying in the sun, long flights etc.

Robin

Hi Kevin,

I have exactly the same requirement i.e. a portable means of reading
talking books and text files. Ever thought of a "Victor reader stream"
it fits into a pocket and can be used anywhere. I know this is OT so
please contact me directly if you want any more details.

Regards

David
