Hi all,

Kevin, first yo must register in Spotify web, then install spotify applicatión, after you must install the scripts.

These are the scripts made by my friend Pepe Fernández Cortés.

Download autoinstallable version of JAWS scripts for Spotify with Windows XP:

http://usuarios.discapnet.es/tifloinforma/dl/Spotify/SpotifyJfwScripts_1_3_XP_ENG.exe

Download autoinstallable version of JAWS scripts for Spotify with Windows Vista:

http://usuarios.discapnet.es/tifloinforma/dl/Spotify/SpotifyJfwScripts_1_3_Vista_ENG.exe

It is very easy install them with the autoinstallable files.
After you test the scripts, please, tell me if Spotify run better with JAWS. I am intersting too, to know the feeling of english users with these scripts.

Lastly, after install the scrips, press JAWS Key+h for show sensitive help.

Good luck!

ricardo.

Subject: [jaws-uk] ACCESSIBILITY OF WWW.SPOTIFY.CO.UK USING JAWS

Hi all,

I've recently signed up to www.spotify.co.uk (a site which allows you
to legally stream music, free of charge) and would be interested to
hear the opinions of other Jaws users regarding its accessibility.

I had to ask for sighted assistance in registering as Jaws is unable
to read the captcha image which is generated to prevent spamming. It
would be good if the site could employ an audio captcha for those
unable to read the screen or some other accessible alternative to
visual captcha.

Turning to the software which uyou download to play music, I've found
that the use of the Jaws cursor enables me to access tracks (the left
mouse button enables sellection of individual tracks). However I
found, on incorrectly typing in the name of a group that, while my
fiancee (who is fully sighted could read the text saying "did you
mean?" Jaws was not able to read the message and it was only with the
help of my fiancee that I was able to click and confirm that I did,
indeed mean the alternative spelling thrown up by Spotify, Have other
Jaws users experienced this problem or is there a way in which I can
access all Spotify messages?

Any comments on this or other issues gratefuly received.

Regards,

Kevin
