Pranav-it's interesting, because all of the left-hand navigation panel links are hyperlinks, so whether the Command Browser is true HTML or not it certainly uses hyperlinks to access some of the controls... I tried to reproduce the problem that you're describing using a script that was at least 90 lines long, and used the 'move to top'/'move to bottom', move up/down X lines, and although my Press Page Down command doesn't work properly on my portable keyboard used the keystroke itself and none of these were sluggish or behaved oddly. A few stray thoughts: do you "set references" when you're writing this type of script have you tried closing the window and saving the script (to compile) and then opening it again to do some editing -ed. -----Original Message----- From: j-say-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:j-say-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Pranav Lal Sent: Wednesday, May 30, 2007 6:22 AM To: j-say@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [j-say list] Re: the Dragon NaturallySpeaking command editor is extremely sluggish Hi Ed, The Dragon NaturallySpeaking command editor does not seem to be in HTML application. All the same, I have tried refreshing the screen with no success. The sluggishness occurs when I am scrawling through the script, if I issue the ctrl+end command to scroll to the end of a script or, if I paste a block of code into a command. I take it that what you're referring to is when you move through the script portion itself that's where you're seeing the sluggish behavior? Have you tried using a refresh command when in that box? (The JSay command would be 'refresh the screen', or you could say press F5 since this is an HTML environment). I'm thinking that the system is "keeping track" of too many lines of script and that by refreshing the screen you may get some better behavior. Let us know if that doesn't make any difference. -ed. -----Original Message----- From: j-say-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:j-say-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Pranav Lal Sent: Monday, May 28, 2007 7:49 AM To: j-say@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [j-say list] the Dragon NaturallySpeaking command editor is extremely sluggish Hi all, I am writing a dragon naturally speaking command which has come to over 90 lines. I am finding the command editor to be extremely sluggish. For example, if I page down or page up , it takes over four seconds for jaws to respond. Also, if I were to delete a character or paste a block of text, the computer freezes for about three or four seconds before normal operations resume. It is this a jaws or a J-say issue? Pranav
