Pranav-I don't usually see this type of behavior when I am working on a long script in the Command Browser/new command wizard. I take it that what you're referring to is when you move through the script portion itself that's where you're seeing the sluggish behavior? Have you tried using a refresh command when in that box? (The JSay command would be 'refresh the screen', or you could say press F5 since this is an HTML environment). I'm thinking that the system is "keeping track" of too many lines of script and that by refreshing the screen you may get some better behavior. Let us know if that doesn't make any difference. -ed. -----Original Message----- From: j-say-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:j-say-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Pranav Lal Sent: Monday, May 28, 2007 7:49 AM To: j-say@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [j-say list] the Dragon NaturallySpeaking command editor is extremely sluggish Hi all, I am writing a dragon naturally speaking command which has come to over 90 lines. I am finding the command editor to be extremely sluggish. For example, if I page down or page up , it takes over four seconds for jaws to respond. Also, if I were to delete a character or paste a block of text, the computer freezes for about three or four seconds before normal operations resume. It is this a jaws or a J-say issue? Pranav
